This policy explains what information Neplify ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it plain and short.

Posting without an account

Visitors can post posts without creating an account or logging in. We don't ask you to register, and we don't build a personal profile of you.

What we collect

• Post content: the text, category, location, price, and any photos you add to a post. This is published publicly on the board.
• Contact details you choose to share: if you add a phone number, email, WhatsApp, or similar to a post, it is shown publicly so people can reach you. Only share what you're comfortable making public.
• Alert emails: if you set up an email alert, we store the email address and the categories/keywords you asked to be notified about.
• Saved posts: the posts you "save" are stored only in your own browser (localStorage). They stay on your device and are not sent to us.
• Basic server logs: like most websites, our server may record technical information such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps to keep the service running and secure.
• A random device id: to enable moderation (so an abusive poster can be blocked even though posting needs no account), each post and comment is tagged with a random identifier generated in your browser. It is not linked to your name or any personal details.

Photos and image processing

When you upload a photo, it is processed on our server (resized and converted to an optimised web format) before being stored and shown with your post. Please don't upload images that contain other people's personal information without their consent.

Your contact details are public

Anything you put in a post, including contact details, can be seen by anyone who views the board. Treat a post like a public poster on a community noticeboard.

How we use information

• To display posts and run the community board.
• To send the email alerts you request.
• To moderate content and keep the platform safe and lawful.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

Posts remain published until they are removed by the poster or by an administrator, or until we remove them in line with these policies. Alert emails are kept until you ask us to delete them. Server logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed.

Removing your information

You can ask us to remove a post or your alert email at any time. Because visitors post without accounts, please include enough detail to identify the post (for example a link or the exact title) when you contact us.

Children

Neplify is not intended for children under 16. Please don't use the service or submit personal information if you are under 16.
