I am planning to apply for a partnership visa for my boyfriend. We have known each other since December, and I am currently waiting for my evisa. The problem is that we have been living together for the past two months. We had a wedding ceremony at the temple(with only our immediate families present), but we haven’t officially registered our marriage yet. What should we do? Should we wait until I receive my evisa and then register our marriage? Or can we use the date of our wedding as the marriage date when we officially register it?
